Happy Holidays! (Winter post 3 of 3)

Post 3 of 3...recent pics and indoor winter fun! Enjoy!

Here's my little "Darth Bean". As you can see, cold weather means we gotta get more creative and I'm a Star Wars freak anyway, so I'm having as much fun as he is!

Here's a nice pic of Pa-pa Breckenridge reading Bean a book...as you can imagine, this one is near and dear to my heart.

Bean cuddling up with his monkey on a cold winter's night!

A precious picture of Ben with Cousin Caroline and Cousin Andrew on Thanksgiving Day!

Here's "Bean" checking out a Christmas tree that's just his size at the Winter Wonderland village in Gahanna.

"Bean" checking out the choo-choo...one of his favorite things!

Here's "Bean" and his friend Nyla last week at the Wildlights display at the Zoo. They had a blast! The lights were absolutely amazing...but "Bean" was afraid to sit on "ho-ho"s (Santa's) lap. We're working on that!

See you next time and Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays! (Fall: post 2 of 3)

Yo!

Here's post 2 of 3, as promised. These are some favorites from this Fall. Enjoy!

Here's our very own Joe Cool. My sunglasses have taken a beating over the past few months!

Here is Ben and Daddy carving our pumpkins for Halloween.

Here's Mommy and our Itsy Bitsy Spider just before Trick-or-Treat. Everytime Ben sees a picture of a witch, he points to it and says "Mommy". I can't begin to explain how much fun that is for me! ;)

One of my all-time favorites (as you could imagine). I'm gonna Photoshop out that car, convert it to black-and-white and frame this.

Here's Pa-pa Breckenridge on the floor playing "Blocks" with "Bean"...that's what he calls himself, by the way!

Just a really cut pic of "Bean" cheesin' for the camera!

Daddy built "Bean" a really cool tent and Mommy was nice enough to get in and play with him. Good times!

See you for post 3!

Happy Holidays! (Late Summer: post 1 of 3)

I know it's been a while...again. But the fact is, it's just hard to post very often these days...what with a little monster running around in my house. I'll continue to post as often as I can, but I just can't do it weekly like I'd like to. Maybe now that the weather outside is frightful, I'll have a bit more time on my hands.

This started out as one post and has changed into three because there I need to catch up. I'll start with some favorites from late summer, I'll do another with favorites from fall, and a third post with more current pics.

Enough words. Enjoy!

Ben pretending to be gliding like Batman...the kid loves Batman.

Pa-pa Dale pushing Ben on the swing!

Here's Ben enjoying his 4-wheeler in the backyard in late September.

Lovin's for mommy!

Ben likes to share his wagon rides with his buddy, Tigger!

Here's Daddy and Ben cheesin' it up!

Until the next post (like 5 minutes from now),

Lil' Squirts

Yo!

This is my fourth post in the past three days, so don't miss any of the fun! Scroll down the page for more eye candy!

This post is just what it says...a bunch of little squirts. This is a collection of pictures taken this summer of Ben with his pint-sized friends and cousins. Enjoy!

Here's Ben giving cousin Morgan a kiss on her first birthday. The resolution of this picture is not as high cuz I stole this one from Aunt Mandy's facebook page!

Here's another one of Ben and cousin Morgan at her first birthday party. Also ganked from Aunt Mandy's facebook page!

Here is Ben and his friend Kenzi (daughter of our friends, Meghan and Nick) at Buck Mulligan's in Gahanna.

Here's Ben and his friend, Ava enjoying a snack...he does that quite a lot if you haven't noticed!

Ben and cousin Morgan enjoying some breakfast.

Ben with cousin Caroline at her birthday party...he's got his eye on the prize!

Here is Ben and cousin Andrew enjoying a wagon ride via Da-da.

That's it for today. I have a bunch more set aside for posting so keep your eyes peeled!

Family Fun Day!

Yo!

Since I'm catching up, I want to remind those that haven't looked for a while to scroll down the page. This is my third post in as many days! Yahoo!

We've really found our home in Gahanna. We love it here and plan to stay here when we move to a larger home...hopefully in 2011. There are plenty of events in Old Gahanna and Family Fun Day is no exception. There are games, face-painting and all types of activites to keep little ones busy...and it's all free! Here are some shots from a Family Fun Day we enjoyed this summer.

Here's ma-ma and Ben enjoying some of the activites in the baby section.

This kid is ALL boy. He loves climing and this gave him a safe place to do so!

More fun with ma-ma.

The jumphouse was a highlight of the day. We didn't want to put him in there with the bigger kids, but towards the end of the event, I was able to get in with him and he had a BLAST!

So much fun he can hardly contain himself!

Thought he'd sit down for a bit of a rest. I had as much fun as he did!

See you next time!

Summer fun Mini-series! (Post 5 of 5...randoms)

Hey everyone!

Since it's been a while since I posted, I wanted to make sure everyone knows to look down the page because this is my second post of the evening. I have some catching up to do!

There is plenty to talk about with Ben. We've hit a lot of milestones developmentally but I want to get caught up on some older pictures before I go into all of that. I'll be catching up on posts throughout the next week or so because there is a lot to say AND see! So enjoy these four "randoms" I had set aside to post.

Ben loves to ride up on Da-da's shoulders. Hey, you would too if you were that short!

Another good one of Da-da and Ben. These were taken on Father's day. Ma-ma got us boys matching (sort of...his has a monkey on it) Life Is Good hats!

Great Grandma Dale got Ben his first box of crayons and a coloring book! Here he is right before he created his first piece of art...Da-da's little guy!

This one was picked just for the orneriness. Yes, there are eight paws here and no, we didn't get a second dog. We were dog sitting and Ben had a blast with them!

That's it for tonight. Stay tuned throughout the next week or so for lots of eye candy!

Love,
Jeff, Jenni and Ben

Summer fun Mini-series! (Post 4 of 5...FINALLY)

Hey everyone!

I know it's been a while, so I'm going to do two posts tonight. I've got some catching up to do! We have had a wonderful summer and have had a blast enjoying the outdoors. We have ourselves a water baby! I knew that we probably would since we introduced him to swimming lessons so early. It's to the point now where we can't keep him out of the water. All we need is a warm day and a hose for hours of entertainment!

During our "stay-cation" earlier this summer, we took Ben to Zoombeezi Bay and to a waterpark we found in Groveport. It's just a community pool, but we were very surprised at how great it was! Here are some pictures of those two outings.

Here's Ben playing at the Groveport pool. There are plenty of things for a little monster to get into there!

Here's ma-ma and Ben wading through the pool.

This one is at Zoombeezi Bay. Having grown up going to Wyandott Lake, I was a little disappointed to find it was completely different. But, I gotta say, it's really great and they have a fantastic baby area. The little kid's area is even better, but during this trip, it was a bit much for him. We did take a second trip to Zoombeezi later in the summer, and I'll post pics for that once I get caught up.

Another picture of Ben playing in the water at Zoombeezi Bay.

Here's Ma-Ma and Ben in the lazy river at Zoombeezi Bay.

Stay tuned for post #5 of 5 which will be coming momentarily!
