One of the things we decided to do on our "stay-cation" was to get out and enjoy some of the things in our own city that we don't always get to. Throughout the last several years, when Jenni and I would go shopping at Easton, we'd sometimes stop and watch all of the children play in the fountain. So, naturally, we were itchin' to let our little guy give it a try! We didn't get out a lot last summer because Ben was so small, but we had heard that Gahanna had done a fantastic job renovating a park in town called "Creekside". There had always been boardwalks around the creek, and we had walked those before, but the renovations that happened while we hibernated last summer were phenomenal. It is such a beautiful place to eat dinner, take a walk or just hang out. And Ben absolutely loves playing in the creek. There are duckies, paddlboats and all kinds of cool stuff for a little dude to get into. The first time we went down as a family was during our time off together and we've been back half a dozen times since! Anyway, here are some pictures of Ben playing in the fountain at Easton and in the creek at Creekside. Enjoy!

A well-timed photo of the fountain giving Ben a little suprise right up his front!

Ben loved playing with and watching the other children...yes, we planned ahead and brought a change of clothes!

Ben givin' his sippie a little chug...it was hot out there! Plus, running and laughing is hard work!

Here's a great picture of Ben and Mommy by the creek. By the way, Crocs (his shoes) are one of the best thing to ever happen to parents.

Another picture of Ben and Mommy by the Creek. The only issue we have is him not holding still long enough to cheese it up for Daddy!

Daddy and Ben taking a stroll down to the creek for some more fun.
Two more parts to go in this series. Have fun!
Jeff, Jenni & Ben
